Project description
This surgical illustration depicts a minimally invasive, robotic-assisted esophagectomy using the Ivor Lewis approach, performed to remove a tumor located just above the gastroesophageal junction.
The illustration was developed following direct observation of the procedure in the operating room, ensuring that the visualization reflects the specific techniques and preferences of the surgical team. The focus was on accurately capturing key anatomical landmarks, instrument positioning, and procedural steps to support surgical education and communication among healthcare professionals. |
