Mother to Fetus O2 Transfer

Molecular Illustration

Project description

The objective of this project was to visualize a particular molecular process. Having an interest in hemodynamics, I chose to illustrate how oxygen transfer works between mother and fetus during pregnancy. 
Role: ​Research, visual development, 3D modelling, illustration and layout

Tools: Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Protein Imager, ChimeraX, RCSB Protein Data Bank (PDB)

Client: Dr. Derek Ng (Associate BMC professor, University of Toronto)
